Last weekend, a large Internet account cracking game up. The crime seems to consider mostly Finnish Internet forums. There are the hackers' comments:
We cracked 78 000 (ok, almost 79 000) accounts around the net and of course we'd like to share them with you, right. Mostly finnish accounts, so maybe it would be better to have this prologue in finnish too.
A file of 79 000 accounts is spreading in internet. Here is an example from it. I have added ***** afterwards for this article.

UPDATE
A service, where people can check, if their account is cracked is open at: http://www.pelulamu.net/vuoto/. You must check only your ID, not type your password to this or any similar form.
I have said before on Newsvine (to some scorn and claims of spreading FUD) that identity theft should be a serious concern for anyone who has profiles on the web. Trust your own profile was unaffected.
I don't think it matters what ID and password used, it would seem that the crackers are dragging the information by getting under the servers web based security directly from the data file. That could be done by finding the administrators ID and password. That would be the quickest and easiest way.
Oh I see.
Thats why they recommend to use different passwords for different sites.
How does one use this tool if one can't read Finnish. Translation of this site please! http://www.pelulamu.net/
